Finance & Forestry: Where's The Data?
In an increasingly environmentally and financially unstable world it has never been more important to bridge the gap between those working in the field of financial services and those in environmental research, and to foster a mutually beneficial knowledge exchange relationship between these two vital sectors. This is the final report, following a workshop, a series of interviews and a symposium with the financial services sector, the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and the National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO) to scope forestry data and the modelling needs of investment decision-makers in support of sustainable forests and forest carbon.
