This event will launch the report "Financing the Transition: Sustainable Infrastructure in Cities" following a six-month research project which explored financial instruments that can be used by cities and investors to finance the development of sustainable urban infrastructure globally, with a focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
Chiara von Gunten (Z/Yen Group) will present the report's findings. The presentation will be followed by a discussion with Fiona Woolf (CMS Cameron McKenna, 2013/14 Lord Mayor of the City of London), Kookie Habtegaber (WWF International) and Matthew-Jordan Tank (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)), chaired by Michael Mainelli (Z/Yen Group). A Q&A session will then give the opportunity to the audience to share comments and insights.
