Launched in 2014 Allia’s RCB Bonds provide charitable organisations with a simple and affordable way to raise medium or long-term fixed-rate debt whilst offering a transparent and liquid market for investors seeking investments that deliver attractive yields alongside tangible social impact. Admission to trading on London Stock Exchange’s Order book for Retail Bonds enables investors to buy and sell these social investment products in the secondary market.
Allia is a charity that supports impact ventures driving positive change and addressing local and global challenges. It launched its first bond to tackle unemployment in 1999 going on to establish innovative forms of social finance since. Its 20th year saw it expanding its social finance capabilities by taking a majority stake in institutional fixed income broker City & Continental to form Allia C&C.

Chief Executive of the Allia Group until 2019 Tim now chairs City and Continental Ltd (Allia C&C) and is the Senior Advisor to Allia’s Trustees. He has overseen a range of new thinking and new financing solutions to address social challenges including Employment Bonds, Housing Bonds and retail charity bonds. Also Chairman of Treatt plc and of TMJ Interiors Tim is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (MCSI) and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). A Fellow in Entrepreneurship at Cambridge Judge Business School, in his spare time he chairs the Communications Committee at the International Bankers livery company.
