Z/Yen's run of major charity wins continues with an Information Technology strategy for Barnardo's
Z/Yen Limited, the risk/reward management firm, has won yet another substantial assignment with a major charity; this time to help Barnardo's with its Information Technology strategy. Barnardo's is dedicated to giving children a chance by providing services to children and young people in greatest need. Barnardo's demonstrates effective good practice in child care and promotes developments in child care practice widely. It also influences social policy for the benefit of children and promotes good childhood experiences for all children. Barnardo's is one of the largest charities in the UK.
Barnardo's Director of Finance and Corporate Services, Ian Theodoreson, says, "we selected Z/Yen to do this work because their risk/reward approach combines a systematic methodology with a flexible way of working. The Z/Yen team's knowledge and experience of the voluntary sector was also a distinguishing feature. Z/Yen's lively and energetic style should constantly challenge us to find positive solutions and help us to continue to make ourselves yet more efficient and effective."
Z/Yen director, Ian Harris, says: "We are delighted that Barnardo's has chosen Z/Yen, in the face of stiff competition, to help with this work. We are committed to helping forward-thinking organisations like Barnardo's to find innovative solutions using cost-effective and proven technologies. We believe that Barnardo's was attracted to our powerful combination of information technology experts, strategists and sector specialists who can help turn a client's vision into reality. This win is further evidence of Z/Yen's attractiveness to charities and care organisations."
Z/Yen specialises in risk/reward management, an innovative approach to improving organisational performance. Z/Yen clients to date include blue chip companies in banking, insurance, distribution as well as several charities and care organisations.
