On Wednesday 23 September, a team of Z/Yenners past and present swapped financial indices for general knowledge and took part in the City Giving Day quiz. Teams competed at venues across the Square Mile, all raising money for the Lord Mayor's Appeal.

We're delighted to report that our team won the competition at our venue.

The winning line-up was Linda Cook, Charlotte Dawber-Ashley, Juliet Wigzell, Mike Wardle, Sasha Davis and Lucas Djordjevic, competing at the British Arab Commercial Bank venue. It was a real reunion, which proves that once a Z/Yenner, always a Z/Yenner, competitive streak included.

Congratulations to the team, and thank you to the organisers and to everyone who gave generously on the day. City Giving Day brings together firms, livery companies and institutions across the City to celebrate and support charitable work, and we're proud to have played our small part (and to have come out on top).
