As well as the widely publicised six monthly updates of GFCI we also create interim updates every three months. GFCI 7 was published in March 2010 and GFCI 7.5 is here now. The main story of GFCI 7.5 is that of a lack of confidence in financial services: The ratings of virtually all centres have declined slightly. London and New York still lead the index but their lead over third placed Hong Kong is now down to 31 points – its lowest ever. Shanghai has risen into the top ten for the first time.
