Two events will take place at Guildhall prior to the main conference:

A roundtable discussion on the "Finance and Forestry" report will be held from 10:30 to 12:00 in the Great Hall, Guildhall. The event is hosted by Z/Yen as a delivery partner of the Financial Services Knowledge Transfer Network on behalf of Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). Further information about the event is available here. Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to reserve your place.

A workshop on the Future of Finance will be hosted by the Long Finance Forum of Futurists from 10:00 to 13:00. The Forum has created outline scenarios for 2030 and for 2050, and is exposing them for testing, refining and development.
The event promises to be an opportunity to both contribute to the long term thinking of finance as well as to work with your peers in a stimulating environment. If you have not worked with scenarios before you will enjoy the experience; if you have, you will know how exhilarating it is to “see” views of the future and to discover the implications – both expected and unexpected.
