Good friend of the Financial Services Club David Birch joins us this evening to talk about why Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and tokens are not as crazy as people think, and why they may be the future of money far more than bitcoin is.
In 2017, over $6 billion was invested in almost 900 ICOs. Many provided returns of up to 50,000% whilst some were scams and ideas that never materialised. Either way, cryptocurrencies and ICOs became an important new dimension of the global financial space in the last few years. What will happen in the next few years? David Birch will tell us.
