Transforming Banking Modernisation: A Temenos & Keysight Partnership
Webinar

Background: Modern banking is no longer a one-off transformation – it’s a continuous process of evolution.

Financial institutions are modernising core platforms, adopting composable architectures, moving to cloud, and embedding AI-driven capabilities – all while responding to regulatory change and rising customer expectations. The challenge is no longer just delivering change quickly. It’s delivering change confidently.

As programmes become more iterative and interconnected, maintaining alignment between business intent, system implementation, and real-world outcomes becomes increasingly complex. Traditional testing approaches alone are no longer enough. Banks need a broader, more strategic view of software quality that spans requirements, development, release, and live operations.

In this panel discussion, experts from Temenos, Keysight Eggplant, and independent industry analysis explore how financial institutions can modernise at pace while retaining control and confidence. We’ll discuss:

  • The forces reshaping modern banking architectures
  • How progressive modernisation changes delivery and assurance models
  • Why software quality engineering must extend beyond late-stage testing
  • How organisations can align quality metrics to business outcomes and regulatory expectations

Join us for a conversation on how to modernise banking platforms with agility, governance, and evidence-based confidence – from strategy through to live customer experience.

Speakers:

Toby Marsden has over 25 years’ experience of understanding client needs, proposing solutions and helping customers achieve their goals through successful implementations. He has worked across sales, marketing and professional services roles for multinational software companies and start-ups. Over Toby’s career the way software has been developed and how we release applications has changed considerably, in fact the pace of change has been phenomenal, therefore we must help organisations adopt new ways of working and leverage technology but not compromise end user experiences and business value. For the last 15 years Toby has been focussed on helping customers manage complex software delivery challenges by adopting automated delivery practices across the application lifecycle. He is currently part of Eggplant’s management team, which become part of the Keysight family in 2020 and provides AI Assisted Intelligent Test Automation. His is currently on a mission to is to develop a 1st class partner ecosystem that creates increased value to Keysight’s customers.

Nick Hudson is a Product Marketing Manager at Keysight Eggplant, focused on software test automation. Drawing on experience in go-to-market strategy and customer engagement, Nick partners with product, sales, and engineering teams to showcase how Keysight solutions drive quality, speed, and efficiency in complex testing environments.

Daniel Howard is an experienced member of the IT industry. In 2014, following the completion of his Master of Mathematics at the University of Bath, he started his career as a software engineer, developer and tester at what was then known as IPL. His work there included all manner of software development and testing, and both Daniel personally and IPL generally were known for the high standard of quality they delivered. In the summer of 2016, Daniel left IPL to work as an analyst for Bloor Research, and the rest is history.

Daniel works primarily in the data space, his interest inherited from his father and colleague, Philip Howard. Even so, his prior role as a software engineer remains with him, and has carried forward into a particular appreciation for the development, DevOps, and testing spaces. This allows him to leverage the technical expertise, insight and ‘on-the-ground’ perspective garnered through his old life as a developer to good effect.
