Alexandra Carn is an employment lawyer with a specialism in the financial services sector, often acting for PRA and FCA regulated individuals and companies. She is highly experienced in advising on all employment-related claims, including whistleblowing, discrimination and equal pay. She also advises on High court litigation including breach of contract, post-termination restrictions, and shareholder and board disputes.
Alexandra also assists with the employment-related elements of corporate transactions such as collective redundancies and TUPE.
Cordelia Rushby is a specialist Insurance and Health lawyer. She advises on a wide range of commercial issues connected with the management of workforce injury and health, often bridging the gap between compliance, human resources and claims. She works with employers on health and safety strategy, undertakes audits of health and safety documentation, drafts and advises on risk assessments, and assists with the management of long-term sick absence and the defence of litigated claims.
Cordelia also has a substantial practice advising income protection providers on the enforceability of claims, policy wording disputes, and medical and financial fraud. She has successfully defended insurers on many appeals referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Cordelia is also a part-time Tribunal Judge of the Social Entitlement Chamber.
