International sanctions were and remain a key part of that response. This talk will give an overview of the UK sanctions response, identify key “problem” areas and conclude with suggested best practices.

Fergus Randolph QC practises commercial, EU and international law in London and Brussels. He has been involved in sanctions litigation for many years, initially dealing with Iran and more latterly with Russia. He is a Bencher of Middle Temple and Chair of the Bar Council’s International Trade Working Group.
