Foreseeing Future Issues In Executive Remuneration In Light Of A Looming General Election
Webinar (invitation only)

Background: In this presentation, Stuart James foresees future issues and challenges around executive remuneration, especially with a looming general election in the UK. It analyses how different political parties' policies and ideologies could impact executive pay practices. Economic factors like inflation, market conditions, and the overall health of companies will be discussed as key considerations. The webinar is touching on shifting cultural attitudes towards income inequality and excessive executive compensation packages. Overall the presentation looks at the political, economic, and social landscape to forecast upcoming debates and changes regarding executive remuneration. The presentation was debated by the panel on "Anticipating Issues In Executive Rewards, Investor Guidance, And Communications", at the Esop Centre’s 2024 Share Plans Symposium on 25 April.
