FIDOR Bank has gained massive recognition for its innovative approach to banking in Germany. With a full banking license, the bank launched in 2009 with social media as its core focus for customer connectivity. Using Facebook as a platform, the bank enables the youth generation to save in Diablo Gold whilst exchanging euros for real Gold. To find out how FIDOR became the most innovative bank in the world, Chief Executive Officer Matthias Kröner joins us for the evening.

Matthias Kröner has been CEO of FIDOR Bank AG since 2006, responsible for investor relations, corporate communications, strategic development and communities. He is a passionate and knowledgeable entrepreneur who started his career in the hospitality business.

Matthias Kröner studied business management training in Munich and at Cornell University, New York. In 1992 he joined Bankhaus Maffei. From 1993 to 2002 he built the DAB Bank, the first continental European online broker and in 1997, at the age of 32, he became the youngest director of a German bank at Direkt Anlage Bank AG.
